About The Position

Do you catch yourself saying “I saw this TikTok the other day…” more often than you’d comfortably admit? Are you the friend who volunteers to plan the itinerary for every trip? Are you curious about what it takes to build and execute influencer campaigns from the ground up? This is an opportunity to go behind the scenes of how influencer marketing campaigns come to life at Open Influence—we’re looking for summer interns who not only understand the social media landscape, but are excited to learn how it all comes together. We won’t bury the lead: success here requires curiosity, a strong attention to detail, and a willingness to jump in and learn. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting real campaigns, working alongside a team that blends creativity, strategy, and execution. PROGRAM DETAILS This is a paid summer internship designed to provide hands-on experience in creator marketing. Schedule: 3 days per week (24 hours total) Format: 2 days in-office (New York) + 1 day remote Duration: Summer 2026

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, etc.); Spring 2026 graduates welcome
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail with an eagerness to learn
  • Interest in influencer marketing, social strategy, and digital culture
  • Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Support creator sourcing efforts, including identifying potential influencers and collecting demographic data
  • Assist with creator vetting and basic risk assessment to ensure brand alignment
  • Help build creator rationale by organizing research and insights
  • Help review drafts of creator concepts, content, and QA live creator posts to ensure they align with approved content
  • Provide presentation support, including updating images, formatting slides, and inputting data into charts and decks.
  • Maintain organized campaign trackers and assist with internal documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to support day-to-day campaign needs
