About The Position

Steer Health is an AI-powered healthcare growth and automation platform helping health systems and medical groups improve patient access, operational efficiency, and revenue performance. Our solutions support digital front door, scheduling, intake, care coordination, and patient engagement deeply embedded into clinical and administrative workflows. We sell into complex healthcare organizations where trust, credibility, and execution matter as much as closing ability. Steer Health is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive with a proven track record of selling healthcare technology into health systems, hospitals, and large medical groups. This is a hunter role focused on new logo acquisition, while also expanding and growing existing enterprise accounts. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close navigating long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and rigorous procurement processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, consultative healthcare sales environments and can confidently engage C-suite executives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise healthcare sales
  • 3+ years selling SaaS, cloud, mobile, or healthcare technology solutions
  • Proven experience closing $150K–$500K+ ACV deals with 6–12 month sales cycles
  • Demonstrated success selling into health systems, hospitals, or large medical groups
  • Track record of exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts with procurement and legal teams
  • Comfortable selling to C-suite executives and managing multiple decision-makers
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Healthcare enterprise sales experience is non-negotiable
  • Strong consultative selling mindset — healthcare buyers want partners, not pitches
  • Ability to explain complex operational problems and ROI in simple, executive language
  • Comfort selling emerging or evolving categories (AI, automation, digital transformation)
  • High emotional intelligence and strong executive presence
  • Discipline around territory planning, pipeline creation, and account mapping
  • Willingness to prospect, build decks, and operate without heavy sales-engineering support
  • Resilience and patience to work long, complex sales cycles without losing intensity

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • Formal training in Challenger, Strategic Selling, MEDDICC, or Solution Selling preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and close new enterprise healthcare deals while expanding existing accounts
  • Build and manage relationships with senior healthcare leaders including CMOs, CNOs, CIOs, CMIOs, and CFOs
  • Navigate complex buying committees including clinical, IT, security, compliance, finance, and procurement
  • Drive consultative, value-based sales cycles from discovery through contract execution
  • Forecast pipeline, bookings, and revenue with accuracy and discipline
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, and marketing collaboration
  • Lead in-person and virtual executive presentations, demos, and proposal discussions
  • Travel as needed to support enterprise sales motions and onsite meetings
  • Educate healthcare buyers on AI-powered automation and its operational and financial impact
  • Stay current on healthcare trends, workflows, regulatory realities, and competitive landscape
