About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to drive new revenue growth by selling embedded finance solutions into vertical SaaS platforms. This role is critical in expanding PayPal's reach in the fast-growing embedded finance ecosystem, where SaaS platforms are increasingly embedding payments, credit, and financial services directly into their software offerings. You will be responsible for sourcing, closing, and managing new SaaS partner relationships, helping them monetize financial services and create differentiated value for their customers. Working cross-functionally with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Marketing, you will ensure our solutions are positioned to accelerate adoption and deliver measurable impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years' experience in sales or business development in fintech, SaaS, or payments.
  • Understanding of embedded finance, SaaS monetization, and payment processing economics.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, and close mid-to-large complex deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-starter, results-oriented, with a passion for innovation in financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new partners.
  • Foster strategically-focused communications to enhance collaboration.
  • Support partner growth strategies to drive mutual success.
  • Initiate regular contact to understand partner needs and challenges.
  • Communicate partner needs to appropriate stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Drive new business development by prospecting and closing SaaS platform partners seeking to embed payments, credit, and other financial services.
  • Develop and deliver compelling value propositions, business cases, and deal structures that align PayPal's solutions with partner business models.
  • Partner with internal teams (Product, Risk, Compliance, Marketing) to ensure a seamless partner onboarding and go-to-market process.
  • Build strong executive-level relationships with partner decision makers, establishing PayPal as the trusted provider of embedded finance capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop partner activation and adoption campaigns.
  • Meet and exceed quota targets for revenue growth and new partner acquisition.
