About The Position

We're seeking an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in technology solution selling to join our growing team. As an Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle and drive new business across the higher education market, positioning our managed IT and technology management services as essential enablers of institutional success. You’ll identify opportunities, consult with decision-makers, and craft customized solutions that support mission-critical campus operations and student success.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years focused on technology or managed services sales (preferably within higher education or the public sector).
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar sales quotas.
  • Deep understanding of the higher education decision-making process and funding environment.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to translate technical offerings into ROI-driven value propositions.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Reporting the Senior Vice President, Managed Services, develop a pipeline, execute sales strategy and meet quota driven expectations.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new higher education clients for managed services, IT infrastructure, and technology management solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with Chancellors, Presidents, Chief Academic and Adminstrative Officers, the C-Suite of Higher Education decision makers including relationships with Board members.
  • Manage complex sales cycles from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with technical and service delivery teams to design proposals that align with client objectives and budgets.
  • Forecast accurately, maintain data integrity, and report on pipeline progress and metrics.
  • Represent the company at higher education conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand market presence.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulations, and digital transformation needs within the higher education landscape.
