About The Position

CLIENT SERVICES / Responsible for leading Octagon's client business and day-to-day management of client programs. Our headquarters is in Stamford, CT, but this position will be based in Miami, FL with an expectation to work up to 3 days per week in a client or interagency office. We have an outstanding opportunity for an Account Executive to support sponsorship programs for our Payment Services client in the Latin American market. You will work alongside the Account Director and Account Managers as part of the property management team, leading project coordination, asset tracking, and process management while helping plan and activate client programs. The AE will support project workflows, reporting, and a new Asset Management Tool designed to streamline approvals and deliverables, playing a key role in ensuring that all client programs are executed efficiently and with excellence. Requirements

  • A passion for and expertise in sports, music, entertainment and are eager to stay up to date with developments in each industry
  • At least 2 years of experience in a traditional sponsorship marketing role; agency experience preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish is required
  • An understanding of the cultural nuances of the Latin American region and ability to apply that knowledge to advise clients accordingly
  • A natural communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Moderate (20-45%)

Responsibilities

  • Champion and cultivate relationships with internal teams, clients, and vendors
  • Support the day-to-day project management and workflow tracking across sponsorship programs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for managing the new Asset Management Tool, helping track deliverables, timelines, and approvals across markets
  • Assist with the implementation, optimization, and training of the tool to ensure seamless integration into existing client processes
  • Support the development of regional toolkits, status trackers, and program dashboards to improve visibility and efficiency
  • Assist in the creation of sponsorship presentations to educate and advise markets, enhancing partnership value and activation
  • Coordinate with the Account Manager on event activations, vendor management, and on-site logistics
  • Produce client communications including project updates, recaps, and performance reports
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property guidelines and sponsorship assets to advise Latin American marketing clients effectively
