About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Account Executive who will help prospect for new business opportunities that ultimately deliver solutions towards AI-native applications servicing the Public Sector verticals. Our Public Sector applications cover a broad spectrum from public safety to law enforcement agencies; use cases spanning from helping police departments identify suspects captured in video evidence to assisting district attorneys to surface key evidence buried in terabytes of discovery ESI. Our Public Sector applications are all built upon aiWARE, a hyper-expansive Enterprise AI platform. aiWARE orchestrates an expanding ecosystem of machine learning models to transform audio, video, and other data sources into actionable intelligence. ‎

Requirements

  • Previous experience with enterprise-class software products in any of the following segments: eDiscovery, digital evidence management, compliance surveillance, media asset management, content management, business process automation, RPA; preferably in the public safety, DOD/Intel or legal eDiscovery markets.
  • Previous experience supporting working within Public Safety/Law Enforcement and/or MSA, SI, or government channel partners with enablement and education programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Business schooling a plus
  • At least 5 years of successful experience selling on enterprise level
  • Sales experience in software (SaaS), digital, or high-technology offerings and services
  • Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Detail-oriented, strong relationship-building skills, and a keen focus on customer satisfaction
  • Strong strategic selling skills and prospecting skills.
  • Aptitude to persuade and influence others.
  • Strong office software skills (spreadsheets, presentations, etc.), plus experience using CRM software (preferably SalesForce.com).
  • Positive attitude plus strong interpersonal, emotional intelligence (EQ), and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed revenue goals within assigned prospective and target accounts via aggressive prospecting and opportunistic selling.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities at both the corporate/enterprise levels.
  • Make certain that all buying roles (economic, technical, user, influencer) are presented with a unique selling proposition during the buying process.
  • Manage the full sales cycle process from prospecting, presentation, proposal, negotiating, contracting, to close.
  • Be a subject matter expert in Veritone’s applications and services
  • Document all sales funnel activity in SalesForce.com
