Requirements
- 1-2 years of PR agency experience
- Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, journalism or similar focus
- Passionate about startups and working directly with founders
- Organized & adaptable, able to manage multiple projects and respond quickly to new situations
- A creative chameleon who can flex their storytelling muscle across industries
- Brilliant writing skills
- Self-starter with strong work ethic
- Proficiency in media reporting tools i.e. Cision, MuckRack, etc.
Responsibilities
- Drive media results through outreach and creative/proactive story ideation
- Develop first drafts of materials needed for client campaigns - pitches, briefing documents, media lists, blogs, etc.
- Source and support execution of client speaking engagements, awards, etc.
- Conduct industry, competitor and client research
- Participate in client meetings with account teams to communicate PR program efforts
- Assist in the management of results reporting
