As an Account Executive, New Business, you’ll be responsible for driving new business and developing relationships within your assigned greenfield territory. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Success in this role means building strong customer partnerships and acting as a trusted advisor to help clients get the most value from our products. If you thrive on face-to-face interactions, this is the role for you—you’ll spend more than half your time out in the field, connecting directly with customers, covering your territory, and becoming the go-to partner they trust when needs arise. Requirements

  • Minimum of 0–3 years of sales experience (B2B preferred) with a track record of hitting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills—you can build rapport quickly and influence decision makers
  • A consultative mindset with the ability to uncover client challenges and position solutions that deliver measurable results
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to achieve—while thriving in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities and keep your pipeline moving
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM tools and sales technology to track activity, pipeline, and performance
  • Coachable and eager to grow — you take feedback well and actively invest in your personal development

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to identify, engage, and convert prospects.
  • Own the hunt for new business through strategic prospecting, sharp discovery, and compelling storytelling that wins trust and closes deals.
  • Manage and grow your pipeline with discipline and creativity, ensuring consistent success and long-term impact.
  • Build lasting relationships by becoming a trusted advisor and delivering exceptional customer experience in all interactions.
  • Collaborate with experts across the business to bring the best thinking and innovation to every client interaction.
  • Work to weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual metrics to ensure optimum opportunity to achieve and exceed quotas and goals.
  • Responsible for selling Kyocera’s business technology solutions within an assigned territory. The solutions stack includes MNS, Network Infrastructure, Security, Business Continuity, ECM, uCaaS, A/V, and Document Output.
