The duties of this position include but are not limited to: Pursuing business from leads and accounts as assigned; assisting in setting and achieving sales projections; prospecting and closing new direct clients; developing a positive relationship with local clients and their agency of record; participating in the sales of regular and special programming and promotions; resolving billing and collection problems; increasing billing and share of business from existing clients; and meeting and/or exceeding all goals. The preferred candidate will have previous sales experience in broadcast sales/other outside sales and digital sales experience is a plus. A four-year degree in a related field is preferred. You must be a self-starter, possess a highly motivated personality and the ability to maintain a positive attitude. These attributes will align with a strong desire to help business owners grow their revenue and be achieved through effective communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships. In addition, you must have excellent organizational skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Since this requires travel to client sites, you must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance. A background check and drug screening must be passed to be eligible for employment.
