About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Federal Account Executive to develop and manage relationships with federal government agencies and drive revenue growth. Our Federal Account Executives engage with federal institutions of all sizes in a defined geographic territory, building positive, trusted relationships with decision-makers and helping institutions realize the value of their investments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of navigating the complex federal procurement landscape and delivering solutions that meet the unique needs of government clients. As a member of the Zoom sales team, you will empower Zoom's Federal institutions to discover flexible solutions for modern team collaboration. You will advocate the innovative power of our platform to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience selling to federal government agencies
  • Demonstrated understanding of federal procurement processes (FAR, DFAR)
  • Have experience with federal contract vehicles (GSA, SEWP, CIO-SP3, etc.)
  • Strong network of contacts within federal agencies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Able to obtain security clearance if required
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales management tools
  • Resides in or near the DC area

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans targeting federal agencies, departments, and programs
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within assigned federal accounts
  • Prospecting net new logos, developing and maintaining business within existing accounts and managing complex sales situations / large projects
  • Collaborating with technical teams to develop tailored solutions that address specific government requirements
  • Maintaining deep understanding of federal budget cycles, funding sources, and procurement regulations
  • Working strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities/challenges, and provide recommended solutions
  • Staying current on federal market trends, agency priorities, and competitive landscape
  • Achieving and exceeding assigned sales quotas and business objectives
