About The Position

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency, is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing Hyundai Brand Team! This is a long-term, on-going contract role with access to benefits. We are a hybrid workplace, x3 days week in-office. Candidates must be local to SoCal. DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW: The Account Management Department works with our clients to identify business needs that translate to clear assignments for the agency team. Account Executives will work with agency departments to develop internal assignment briefs, guide process from ideation to delivery, and manage client relationship including reviews/approvals and project status along the way. Account Executives are also responsible for managing budgets and timing and ensuring all assignments deliver on brand strategy/guidelines, business objectives and meet client expectations. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Account Executive position requires the ability to effectively manage numerous projects (at the same time) from start to finish, while demonstrating the ability to organize workload and workflow through coordination of agency activities and client contact. Primary responsibilities are to plan, coordinate, and direct advertising campaigns for agency clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years as an Account Executive in a full-service agency
  • Experience in TV, Radio, Digital, Print production
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage numerous projects at the same time
  • Desire to be a team player
  • Desire and ability to problem solve (i.e., coming to the table with solutions)

Responsibilities

  • Directly supports Sr Account Executive, Account Supervisor and sometimes Account Director.
  • Acts as the liaison to some clients.
  • Coordinates the planning and execution of advertising activities for clients within budget and time limitations.
  • Guides day-to-day development of advertising activities within approved strategy and business objectives.
  • Provides effective and efficient use of agency resources and processes to ensure projects are delivered as promised in terms of content, time, and budget.
  • Understands the expectations of, and communicates effectively with, all agency team members.
  • Effectively monitors the work of other agency departments against agreed upon timetables.
  • Prepare accurate and timely internal communication, including conference reports and assignment summaries.
  • Prepare clear and concise client presentations.
  • Must be able to present an insightful point of view on client assignments and/or new opportunities with clarity, authority, and persuasion.
  • Anticipate, and proactively make the Management Supervisor aware of any expectation issues.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, even while under pressure.
