About The Position

The Account Executive - Audiovisual (AV), Corporate & Healthcare is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales and profitability objectives across assigned accounts and territories. This role manages the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, qualification, proposal development, bid responses, contract execution, and post-sale coordination. The Account Executive - Audiovisual (AV) partners with corporate and healthcare clients to identify technology needs, budget requirements, and project goals. This role develops comprehensive AV/IT integration solutions and serves as the primary point of contact throughout planning, design, implementation, closeout, and ongoing support to ensure exceptional client service and long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of consultative sales experience in AV/IT or related technology industry
  • Strong knowledge of AV/IT products, design, engineering, and integration processes
  • Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and CRM platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities and meet sales objectives
  • Strong verbal, written, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility in scheduling with occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to visit customer sites and perform activities requiring standing, walking, and extended focus

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities within corporate and healthcare markets
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts
  • Prospect and cold call potential customers
  • Identify and qualify high-value opportunities
  • Perform client needs assessments and budget evaluations
  • Develop and present detailed proposals and scopes of work
  • Guide clients through planning, design, implementation, and support phases
  • Lead negotiations and close sales to meet or exceed assigned quotas
  • Coordinate change orders and communicate project scope, timelines, and costs
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field teams
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide sales forecast updates
  • Support account activity including assisting with collections as needed
