As an Account Director, you will play a key role in overseeing client accounts and driving client satisfaction. You will be responsible for facilitating communication between the client and the agency as well as fostering collaboration between agency disciplines to achieve objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 8+ years of advertising agency experience
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand and analyze performance metrics
  • Proven communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the hub of communication for both the client and the agency
  • Leading a comprehensive team of advertising professionals to develop and implement effective advertising strategies
  • Proactively and strategically supporting your clients, which can range from the education of the clients’ industries to the delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Develop strong client relationships and seek opportunities for growth
  • Continued communication efforts from kick-off to post-completion results for all client campaigns, including understanding and clearly communicating feedback
  • Meeting with clients to understand business marketing objectives
  • Discussing strategy internally and externally to develop campaigns
  • Presenting proposals to clients, including strategic set-up and rationales, making sure all components are in line with the brand and strategy
  • Developing, monitoring and enforcing the timing of all client projects
  • Establishing and regulating campaign budgets and timelines
  • Acting as a leader and role model within the Account Management Department to instill and reinforce company values
  • Demonstrating a strong business acumen – overseeing financial management of accounts, including projections, estimates, statements of work, and general account-level P&L
