As an Account Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and strengthening our partnerships with North American clients. In this dynamic role, you’ll act as the key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, showcasing the value of ISS MI (Market Intelligence) solutions while collaborating across product groups to set strategic goals, uncover new revenue opportunities, and enhance client retention strategies. Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 – 8 years of experience in account management, enterprise sales, or client-facing roles (Preferably within the financial services industry)
  • Knowledge of Mutual Funds, ETF, CIT, VA, etc.…(Distribution Intelligence & Product Development)
  • Knowledge of Financial Services and Insurance sector with understanding in FA Marketing, Distribution, Recruiting, and M&A activities.
  • Strong client engagement skills, ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels within the client organization
  • Strong analytical, verbal, written communication and presentation skills required
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment
  • Experience with enterprise software, account management and customer service
  • Ability to manage large six-figure accounts and communicate effectively with executive level clients
  • Ability to provide analysis of complex client business process flows to present effective resolutions
  • Ability to diagnose, prioritize and drive opportunities for product integration
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly and efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Understanding LinkedIn.com and how to leverage it to build networks and pipelines.
  • Familiarity with core Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook, SharePoint
  • Experience with Gong.io

Responsibilities

  • Driving existing enterprise sales process from identification to proposal to negotiation to close within assigned territory and book of business
  • Achieve sales (upselling and cross-selling) and retention goals through prioritizing your activity and sales pipeline.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with N.A. based clients while continuously promoting usage of MI products to facilitate and ensure client retention
  • Planning and prioritizing activity and sales pipeline to achieve goals with an emphasis on efficiency, productivity, and forecast accuracy
  • Partnering with your key contacts prospects and sales management to develop and deliver tailored business cases demonstrating the value or ROI for our solutions
  • Presenting solutions and services benefits through in-person visits at prospect offices, at industry conferences, and via web-based demonstrations when appropriate
  • Deepen and grow client relationships to identify and deliver cross-product solutions
  • Liaise with client support teams to identify and monitor ways to better engage with clients along with any potential client dissatisfaction
