About The Position

The Account Director is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding strategic partnerships. This role blends new business development with strategic account leadership, requiring both proactive opportunity creation and long-term relationship management. This individual will serve as the primary relationship owner and revenue leader, responsible for developing account strategy, identifying and closing new opportunities, and coordinating internal teams to deliver high impact branded and sourcing solutions.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 6–10+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or partnerships
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and closing new business
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Proactive and results-driven approach to developing new business opportunities
  • Relationship-oriented with strong executive presence

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new revenue opportunities
  • Drive expansion through proactive outreach and opportunity development
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from initial prospecting through close
  • Lead client pitches and presentations in collaboration with internal partners
  • Own and lead account strategy across account relationships
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships through cross-selling and upselling
  • Align solutions with client objectives to support sustained, long-term growth
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Act as a trusted advisor by bringing forward proactive ideas and strategic opportunities
  • Translate client needs into clear direction for internal teams to develop effective solutions
  • Partner with Branded Solutions and Sourcing Solutions teams to deliver integrated programs
  • Serve as the central point of coordination, ensuring alignment across internal teams to support revenue opportunities
