About The Position

This Account Coordinator role is responsible for customer operations and business development in a team environment. Key duties include daily communication with customers, issue resolution, and facilitating coordination across teams to ensure efficient daily and weekly operations.

Requirements

Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization
Strong time management and organizational skills
Understanding of the US markets and seasonality
Understand terms and definitions of the transportation industry

Responsibilities

Assist multiple representatives in day-to-day operational and customer-facing needs
Oversee successful completion of day-to-day commitments and daily load board
Perform operational activities such as tracking/tracing, load building, and setting appointments
Utilize internal systems and software to manage daily business
Effectively bid on and execute transactional/spot market opportunities
Read and understand freight markets and price freight accordingly
Communicate effectively across all groups
Other duties as assigned
