About The Position

This is an Entry-Level Collections Agent role, also referred to as an Account Associate or Pre-30-Day Collector, at Westlake Financial. The position is full-time and in-office only, located in Las Vegas, NV (requiring residence within 30 miles). Westlake Financial is the largest privately held auto finance company in the U.S., known for rapid growth, innovation, and a strong path for career advancement. The company is expanding its teams and diversifying its business model, cementing its position as a leader in the automotive lending industry with assets exceeding $22 billion and business relationships in all 50 states, including Puerto Rico. This role offers competitive pay, including a guaranteed base pay up to $15/hr and performance bonuses up to $1,500+ each month, with a total potential compensation of $31,200–$49,200+ per year. Employees can become promotion-eligible in as little as 6 months, fostering a long-term career in the auto finance industry. The Pre-30-Day Collector plays an important role in helping customers stay on track with their accounts while supporting Westlake Financial’s continued success. Requirements

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills — you enjoy talking with people and finding solutions.
  • Strong listening skills and a genuine desire to help customers.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced call center environment where every day is different.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Good communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic to intermediate computer knowledge.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Proper grammar and email etiquette.
  • Type a minimum of 35 WPM.
  • Ability to work under time constraints and daily deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness.
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including evening shifts, overtime and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) is welcomed but not required
  • Auto Collections experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Connect with customers through outbound calls using our easy auto-dial system.
  • Talk with customers to set up payment plans on early delinquent accounts and help them get back on track.
  • Answer inbound calls and provide friendly, professional support.
  • Use your communication skills and empathy to find fair, personalized solutions.
  • Follow company guidelines to ensure every interaction is handled the right way.
  • Use strong communication and negotiation skills to work with customers and help them make timely payments.
  • Meet and exceed daily and monthly performance goals.
  • Make effective outbound calls to customers to arrange payments or set up plans to resolve past-due accounts.
  • Handle inbound customer calls — providing professional, friendly assistance while addressing both service and collection needs.
  • Work with Westlake customers to find and arrange collection solutions for individual accounts.
  • Be a dependable team player who contributes to a positive, supportive work environment.
