Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years of customer service experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Telephone Etiquette
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Epic and other healthcare software.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of insurance verifications and billing procedures

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and return patient voicemails promptly.
Obtain and verify patient demographics, including date of birth, address, and phone number.
Schedule patient appointments as requested.
Transfer calls to appropriate departments.
Manage work queues efficiently.
Complete quarterly recalls for Well Child appointments.
Backup front desk duties to ensure continuous coverage.
Verify insurance and update patient information.
Collect payments and balance cash drawer.
Prepare deposits and manage daily transactions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
