Access Control Coordinator

About The Position

The Access Control Coordinator is responsible for programming and keeping records of locks and employee identification/access badges. The Access Control Coordinator is responsible for patrolling the Hospitals building and grounds, responding to calls for assistance, investigate and document security incidents.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • New York State Driver’s License.
  • New York State Security Guard License.
  • Current CPI and Four Point Restraint certifications required.
  • Current First Aid provider form the American Heart Association required within 3 months of hire (an active AHA BLS Instructor certification can be accepted in lieu of a First Aid provider card).
  • Current BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association required within 3 Months of hire (an active AHA BLS instructor certification can be accepted in lieu of a BLS Provider certification).
  • Prior law enforcement/security/fire safety experience.

Responsibilities

  • Programs locks and badges efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Keeps detailed records of all access badges and locks.
  • Protect the Patients and the Staff by utilizing effective security patrols.
  • A member of the Fire Control Team.
  • Investigate and document security incidents.
