About The Position

PRINCIPRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions. Complete work with accuracy and efficiency. Inspect and audit product processes on incoming product, internal process, product audits and finished product audits Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, Work in a safe manner and as part of a team. Communicate verbally clearly and concisely. Good problem solving skills. Willingness to work overtime when required. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, perform moderate to heavy repetitive lifting, and stand on feet at least nine hours per day. It is an essential function of this position that you report to work on a regular basis. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: One year of production experience or similar in carpentry or fast paced, detail-oriented environment is preferred. Two to three years of work experience. Knowledge and application of safe work practices. High School diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read a tape measure & calipers. Math & computer skills. Possess a thorough understanding of all Cabinetworks Group wood character, machining, assembly and finishing Distinguish among colors and different species. Possess basic Microsoft Office and computer capabilities including Excel, Word and LINCs. Possess a basic knowledge the QMS to promote awareness and use by coworkers. Read a tape measure and caliper. Ability to read/write/communicate in English. Ability to work in a team environment. Self starter who works effectively without close supervision.
