Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean for Academic Resources, the person selected for this position is responsible for coordinating academic accommodations, providing guidance, and advocating for students seeking accommodations, in compliance with ADA laws. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, facilitating the interactive process used to determine reasonable and appropriate accommodations, and maintaining records of students who register for accommodations. In addition, the coordinator may be responsible for assisting the Associate Dean in managing the day-to-day operations of the CULearn tutoring program, representing CULearn at various campus events, and developing and implementing academic support programs and initiatives. This position is located in River Forest, IL. Collaboration with faculty and staff required to effectively promote academic support resources is critical for student success.
