About The Position
The academic radiology practice at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital offers a uniquely rewarding career at a major academic medical center in Washington DC. MedStar Medical Group Radiology, the radiology practice for MedStar Health, is seeking board certified / board eligible fellowship-trained radiologists in body imaging and neuroradiology for its academic practice at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an academic practice within a growing healthcare system with multiple hospitals and outpatient centers. We are a subspecialized practice based at MedStar Georgetown and provide advanced imaging services for a tertiary medical center, with exceptional clinical programs in transplant, surgery, gastroenterology, neurosurgery, neurology and ENT. This role provides the opportunity for academic time, engagement in teaching and research and can be fashioned as a hybrid position, with one day a week scheduled for remote work from home.
Requirements
- Maryland, DC, and Virginia licensure, or be able to apply and obtain.
- Licensing costs are fully reimbursed.
- Backup call for onsite resident's weekdays and weekend call taken from home.
- Must be board certified or board eligible, and fellowship trained in either body imaging or neuroradiology.
Nice To Haves
- Subspecialty certification in neuroradiology preferred or obtained within two years of matriculation.
