Ochsner Health System is seeking BC/BE physicians with Neuro medicine fellowship training and American board certified. We offer a full array of diagnostic and treatment procedures using some of the most advanced technology available. We are also one of the leading radiologic academic centers in the Gulf South, with high clinical volumes across all sub-specialties. This position includes coverage at Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans - Jefferson Highway (a tertiary / quaternary academic medical center), the Benson Cancer Center, and 3 Ochsner South Shore community hospitals, including Ochsner Kenner Medical Center, the site of our Neuroendocrine Tumor program. In addition to diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT, Ochsner also performs nuclear medicine therapeutic procedures and has a cyclotron at Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans. Position Highlights: High-Volume, Complex Neuro Cases: Access to a full spectrum of neuroradiology cases, including stroke, neuro-oncology, epilepsy, spine disorders, and neurovascular imaging. Subspecialty-Focused Workload: Dedicated neuroradiology practice with opportunities for advanced imaging interpretation, including functional MRI, MR spectroscopy, and advanced PET imaging. Cutting-Edge Technology & Resources: Work with state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including high-field MRI, dual-energy CT, and an in-house cyclotron supporting neuro-PET imaging. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Active engagement with neurosurgery, neurology, neuro-oncology, and interventional neuroradiology teams for comprehensive patient management. Academic & Research Opportunities: Involvement in resident and fellow education, with support for clinical research and opportunities to present at national conferences. Diverse Practice Settings: Experience a mix of tertiary/quaternary care, oncologic imaging, and community-based neuroradiology imaging. Advanced Neurotherapeutic Imaging: Participate in nuclear medicine therapeutic procedures and advanced PET imaging for neuro-oncology and neurodegenerative disorders.
