About The Position

Coast to Mountains Preparatory Academy (CM Prep), a Stride K12 partner school, aims to deliver an exemplary individualized and engaging educational experience through school and community/family partnerships, a rigorous curriculum, and a data-driven, student-centered instructional model. Student success is measured by assessment data, parent/student satisfaction, and institutional growth. CM Prep is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Academic & Community Engagement Coordinator to support the launch and growth of its South Carolina program. This role is crucial for ensuring academic excellence, compliance with The Education Scholarship Trust Fund Program, and a strong community presence as the school expands access to high-quality, flexible education options. The position operates as part of the school’s leadership structure, supporting both academic and operational priorities. This is a full-time position requiring the ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week, and maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of related professional experience in education, school operations, or program management
  • Strong understanding of student data, accountability systems, and intervention strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time throughout South Carolina for events
  • Ability to clear required background check
  • South Carolina Department of Education Administrator Endorsement
  • South Carolina Residency Required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Education, Leadership, or related field preferred
  • 1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Experience with state-funded scholarship/ESA programs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support academic performance, course completion, and student progress
  • Partner with school leadership and teachers to ensure high-quality instruction and accountability
  • Coordinate and oversee student remediation and intervention plans
  • Support implementation of CMPA’s academic playbook, MTSS framework, and data tracking systems
  • Oversee all South Carolina ESA/scholarship requirements, ensuring full compliance with state guidelines
  • Track and manage student eligibility, documentation, and reporting requirements
  • Plan and execute all state and internal testing requirements
  • Ensure proper test administration, proctoring logistics, and data reporting
  • Analyze assessment data to support instructional improvements and student outcomes
  • Support management of program budgets, resource allocation, and vendor coordination
  • Assist leadership with staffing needs, forecasting, and operational planning
  • Contribute to development and tracking of key performance metrics aligned to enrollment, retention, and academic success
  • Support initiatives that drive operational efficiency and financial performance
  • Plan and lead in-person events, including information sessions, community partnerships, and family engagement opportunities at least once a month
  • Build relationships with local organizations, homeschool networks, and community stakeholders
  • Support enrollment growth through grassroots outreach and local presence
  • Represent CM Prep at events, fairs, and regional initiatives
