This includes disassembly, inspection, identifying and correcting discrepancies, engine builds, and supporting engine performance testing. Requirements
- Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License - Required at time of hire.
- Formal Aviation Maintenance Training (Military, Aeronautical Academy, Technical School, and/or an Aviation Associate’s Degree).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience servicing, inspecting, or overhauling turbofan engines.
- Prior experience working in a mechanical capacity such as an automotive, assembly, or industrial technician.
- Experience with Honeywell TFE 731 and/or CFE738 engines.
- Factory authorized / OEM training or certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform turbofan overhauls, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly in MRO test cell environment.
- Inspect engine parts upon removal, taking measurements to match upon re-assembly utilizing calipers, borescopes, and micrometers.
- Evaluates removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies.
- Documents all work accomplished in a clear, concise and accurate manner.
- Accomplish Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directive.
- Reads and interprets maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
