About The Position

The A&P Mechanic must accurately repair and perform scheduled maintenance on all airplanes and perform inspections as required by the FAA. Essential Functions Fully analyzes all required blueprints, drawings, work orders and sketches to troubleshoot, repair and install desired product or part. Detects errors and corrects through proper departmental channels. Assist the shop with meeting schedule needs to make on-time delivery of the aircraft to support missions. Inspects all aircraft parts for damage, prior to installation. Works effectively with engineering in recommending design enhancements and productivity improvements. Operates all required ground support equipment. Effectively troubleshoots and repairs all aircraft and customer systems. Prompt and regular attendance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
  • Minimum of three (3) years' of aircraft-related experience
  • Pratt & Whitney PT6
  • Aircraft Towing
  • Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions
  • Thorough working knowledge of all current FAA regulations, IPC and ATA codes
  • Valid Driver's License
  • U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a United States Security Clearance
  • Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening
  • Must be able to obtain a passport

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years' of aircraft-related experience
  • King Air B300 phase maintenance experience
  • Cessna 208B experience
  • Cessna Citation experience
  • Prior training experience on aircraft mechanical systems
  • Veteran preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
