Requirements

  • High school diploma; post-secondary accounting education beneficial
  • 1 - 3 years accounting experience, general accounting/ Bookkeeping
  • Understanding of general accounting including accounts payable, receivables, account reconciliations and banking transactions
  • Strong computer aptitude, including Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • High ethical and confidentiality standards

Responsibilities

  • Process and enter vendor invoices
  • Manage regular check runs
  • Fielding and responding to vendor inquiries
  • Month end tasks including reconciling A/P, Other Expenses, Other Liabilities
  • Assist with Sales tax Filings/Reporting
  • Process and enter customer payments
  • Reconcile A/R and Bank Accounts
  • Collection activities
  • Some Invoice processing
  • Assist with year and audit preparation and response as needed
