Location: 850 76th Street S.W. - Byron Center, Michigan 49315 Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM Position Summary: This 3rd Shift Warehouse Receiving Supervisor role is part of a two-person leadership team overseeing approximately 20 warehouse associates and additional support staff. The ideal candidate will be passionate about safety, team culture, and retention, while driving performance through key operational metrics.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably in receiving.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts consistently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with WMS and inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise receiving operations during 3rd shift, ensuring efficient and accurate unloading, inspection, and documentation of inbound freight.
  • Monitor and improve baseline KPIs including pallets per hour, fill rate, and shrink control.
  • Ensure compliance with Overage, Shortage, and Damage (OS&D) procedures.
  • Maintain payroll within budget constraints through effective labor planning and productivity management.
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, accountability, and retention.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure adherence to company safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with clerical staff to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of inbound shipments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline receiving processes.
