Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience operating a forklift
  • Ability to work the 2nd shift including weekends and overtime as needed
  • Ability to work in production environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy forklift traffic.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong Microsoft office skills, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience in administrative role within a shipping/receiving/comparable area.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and file records and complete and distribute reports for incoming shipments.
  • Utilize computer system to generate reports/tags.
  • Input and verify applicable information to ensure accuracy of counts and other data and accurately close bill of ladings.
  • Input, upload, and manipulate data within spreadsheets while maintaining accuracy and integrity of all data.
  • Proactively communicate with internal customers regarding scheduling changes for shipping/receiving.
  • Assist department personnel, when needed, to balance the workload, organize area, and perform general cleaning.
  • Communicate daily shipments/staging and cycle counting information to material handlers/production.
  • Ensure all paperwork related to incoming/outbound shipments is accurate.
  • Work on production line, as needed.
  • Depending on staffing levels, may be required to operate forklift and maintain applicable licensures.
  • Adhere to all safety and work rules, company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
