About The Position

The Third-Party Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with external logistics providers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate movement of goods. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the company and its 3PL partners, ensuring compliance with service agreements, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement in supply chain operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably with 3PL providers.
• Strong understanding of transportation modes, freight management, and warehouse operations.
• Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities with third-party logistics providers.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and reconcile data between internal systems and 3PL reports.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams (procurement, sales, operations) and external partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Analyze freight costs and performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Assist in negotiating rates and service agreements with logistics providers.
• Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and KPIs.
