For more information, visit www.ccrmivf.com [http://www.ccrmivf.com/]  Location Address:  Department: Clinical Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm) What You Will Do:  Third-party Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of egg donor patient care, FDA testing/requirement, customer service, and infertility care. This position collaborates with the physicians to coordinate care and consult with patients regarding treatment protocols, medications, and/or required testing procedures. The IVF Nurse Coordinator is expected to function independently in the role, seeking assistance from the physicians, the manager and team members as needed. This position will report to the Clinical Nurse Lead. The employee is frequently required to sit; will occasionally stand and/or walk; use hands and fingers to grasp, pick, pinch, type; and reach with hands and arms. Employees should have the visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and operation of standard office machines and equipment. CCRM’s Compensation: The salary range represents the national average compensation for this position. The base salary offered will vary based on location, experience, skills, and knowledge. Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum) from an accredited program required
  • Active and unrestricted state RN (or NP) license required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience required
  • Strong attention to detail, regulatory compliance mindset, and comfort working in highly structured, protocol-driven environments
  • Excellent patient communication, care coordination, and documentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced clinical training is strongly preferred, including: Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA), or Registered Nurse with prior experience in transplant medicine, tissue banking, donor coordination, reproductive medicine, or regulated tissue environments
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Nurse Practitioner degree strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with FDA-regulated tissue programs, transplant coordination, fertility, or donor-based care is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete donor patient assessment, collection, and interpretation of pertinent data relevant to patient’s care.
  • Thorough understanding of the FDA tissue regulations assures compliance for all donors.
  • Documentation of all assessments, interventions, and donor patient’s response.
  • Provide teaching and ability to answer patient questions, utilizing resources needed and available.
  • Communicate patient’s condition to MD’s and other providers as needed/appropriate.
  • Discharge patients to home/temporary housing as condition dictates. Arrange transfer of patient to hospital if continuing medical care is needed.
  • Promote a positive work environment, be accountable for personal conduct and actively participate in staff meetings and unit problem solving.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills that provide efficient patient care and the smooth operation of the unit on a daily basis.
  • Detail oriented approach to paperwork, ensuring it is signed, accurate and complete.
  • Coordinate chart review prior to procedure to assure all surgery center and IVF laboratory consent forms are complete and signed.
  • Inquire with patient if he/she has advanced directives and input the forms into the patient’s EMR if forms have been completed.
  • Oversee emergent situations calmly and efficiently, responding quickly and demonstrating knowledge of emergency procedures and equipment.
  • Perform post op call and documents in EMR.
  • Maintain HIPAA and Confidentiality for all patient and clinic information, HIV confidentiality.
  • Understand and assess potential domestic violence and child abuse and report concerns to the Medical Director or Practice Administrator.
  • Other duties as assigned.
