Position Summary: This position is responsible for the assembly of 3D equipment & tube head/power supply units. Additionally, this position is responsible for the evaluation, inspection, troubleshooting, and compliance testing of returned 3D equipment and tube head parts, sub-assemblies, components, and full units to ensure compliance to established standards and quality documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in assembly, test and troubleshooting electrical or electro-mechanical technology.
  • 3+ years' experience in reading and utilizing circuit board schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficient in Windows 10 & MS Office
  • 2+ year experience in operational role navigating ERP system.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years in regulated manufacturing or repair of dental or medical x-ray equipment required.
  • Associate’s degree in electrical or Electro-mechanical technology or Electrical/Mechanical technical certification.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles fabricated parts to large subassemblies and corresponding tube head/power supply small sub-assemblies according to standard work, verbal instructions, drawings, and/or diagrams.
  • Tests required parameters of electronic / mechanical devices to include Hi-Pot 20 kV.
  • Basic Troubleshooting and investigation of electrical and mechanical issues, looking at the component level of assemblies or circuit boards that do not conform to established specifications to determine root cause.
  • Troubleshoots failed parts using a variety of hand tools, including wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and refurbishment of large equipment following applicable work instructions & quality requirements.
  • Is responsible for completing quality records according to non-conforming parts.
  • Meets required daily production goals and completion of daily productivity score cards
  • Participation in standard work events to make process improvements
  • Accurately records statistical quality data and performance data as required.
  • Complete & accurate SAP transactions as required.
  • Sustains kaizen processes and results.
  • Maintains assigned areas to 5S standards.
  • Maintains a production environment that meets all FDA regulated standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
