Come see who we are at: https://www.assaabloy.com/group/en/about-us What would you do as out Programming Engineer?You will manage multiple projects while producing submittal drawings, details, BOMs, part creation within our ERP system, and follow‑up from project inception through completion. You will collaborate across departments to address drawing and product questions and help ensure successful project execution. You would also: Create drawings using hardware manufacturer templates, engineering guidelines, sketches, and customer sketches, using SolidWorks. Create and modify drawings based on requests from Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Service. Collaborate with high‑end clients, designers, site superintendents, general contractors, and subcontractors. Interpret hardware templates and prepare detailed manufacturing drawings. Ensure compliance with industry standards and tolerances. Promote a safe and harmonious work environment, following the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct and Health & Safety Policy. Special assignments as required. Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

  • BS in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Building Science OR an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design/Drafting Technology (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of relevant job experience
  • Fully proficient in SolidWorks
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2014 or later)
  • Ability to read and understand architectural plans and create construction documents
  • Comfort working in an ERP system
  • Strong communication skills, organization, teamwork, and follow‑up
  • Comfortable interacting with high‑end clients, designers, GCs, and subcontractors
