About The Position

The 3D Model Technician plays a key role in supporting efficient production of digital models and restorations across multiple departments. This role involves preparing CAD files, coordinating multiple 3D printing workflows, and ensuring consistent, precise results. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, experienced with dental CAD/CAM software, and motivated to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Proven experience with 3D modeling, CAD design, and 3D printing, particularly in the dental field.
Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy, and restorative workflows.
Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to precision.
Capable of working independently with a strong desire to learn.
Comfortable in a deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a resourceful, solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate 3D printers to produce high-quality dental models and restorations across multiple workflows.
Perform thorough quality control inspections on printed models to ensure they meet strict standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to 3D printing or model quality.
Collaborate with dental technicians as needed to ensure the successful production of prosthetic and restorative cases.
Maintain organized digital records and model files for ongoing case tracking and future reference.
