About The Position

The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($20/hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided with 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament! The Product Development internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a corporate environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the PD team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives. Clinical Status: Clinical PROJECT DETAILS/TRAINING: You will help identify disease markers in liver tissue and correlate this marker expression in human hepatocytes cultured in LNH’s cell culture system, TruVivo. You will study histology and microscopy while performing the laboratory technique of cell culture. You will assist with the culturing of liver cells to assist in liver disease management. Requirements

  • You must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree. BA Biology Required. Human Anatomy and Physiology coursework preferred. Two years engineering coursework (biomedical, mechanical, chemical, or materials engineering) preferred.
  • You must be a rising junior, senior, or a recent graduate in 2026.
  • You must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 1 – August 7), full-time, 40 hours/week.
