2026 Summer Intern - PTTA - Global Engineering
About The Position
Global MSAT & Engineering (PTT) is responsible for ensuring that PT stays at the forefront of technology in our facilities and supports our robust processes & efficient operations. Our focus is integrating product health, process health with equipment fit for purpose and facility readiness in support of the manufacturing network. You will report to one or two employees within PTTA supporting key activities to enable the organization to fulfill its mission. The ideal candidate is a self-starter deeply curious and energized by learning. You should be comfortable with working through ambiguity and are able to prioritize and manage multiple demands and commitments. This role will collaborate with a cross functional team of leaders, SME’s from business functions within Global MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology) & Engineering function (Asset Health and Future Assets, Project Delivery, Controls, Safety and Sustainability) and across the Pharma Technical Operations network. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing or have attained an Associate's Degree.
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).
- Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program).
- Pursuing a degree in Life Science/ Business/ Computer Science/ Engineering/ Mathematics/ Liberal Arts / or related fields.
- Leadership – building and/or guiding a team, project or equivalent.
- Project management.
- Program management.
- Proficiency with MS Office and other collaboration / productivity tools.
- Ability to work with a global team, collaborate with engineers, business analysts and consultants from different cultures and locations.
- Proactive, inquisitive, and good communication skills.
- Ability to intake and synthesize information.
- Ability to analyze data and visualize in different ways.
- Use quantitative and qualitative approaches to solve business problems.
- Knowledge and understanding of how to use AI technology to enhance business processes.
- Exhibit a passion for high quality and strive for continuous improvement.
Nice To Haves
- Cross-cultural experience, a plus.
- Knowledge of the Project Management and the CapEx Delivery Process (E2E) is a plus including the commissioning and qualification process and project controls.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Agile fundamentals is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
- Spearhead and/or participate in workstream initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops / team break-out sessions.
- Develop metrics and performance indicators.
- Create and manage data repositories / communication channels.
- Other activities as assigned by the Head of PTT Project Services and delegates.
