About The Position

All internships will be based in our South San Francisco, CA and will be in-person minimum 4 days a week in the office. This internship starts in late June 2025 for approximately 10-12 weeks. This is a temporary role working up to 40 hours per week and the hourly rate is $35/hour. POSITION SUMMARY Our interns will assist with the daily operations in each of their specific departments assigned to and gain exposure, including but not limited to: Hands-on, meaningful work experience in their field of study. Work in the industry on applying leading edge technology. Use school knowledge in real-work situations. Explore the environment and culture of a leading biotechnology company. Develop a network of industry contacts for future mentorship and guidance. Provide qualified and enthusiastic candidates for short-term projects. Encourage word-of-mouth advertising when Interns return to school. Potential to bring new science technologies and knowledge from the classroom into the workplace. This summer intern will work closely with the in-house legal team on several legal issues.

Requirements

Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with plans to return to school in the fall.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus.
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age by June 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research on various corporate legal issues.
Under the supervision of in-house counsel, draft and review business agreements.
Assist Legal Counsel in reviewing and drafting corporate policies.
