Who We're Looking For We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Process Engineering Intern to join our Etch Process Department. This robust internship offers unparalleled exposure to the integration of diverse engineering and scientific disciplines—including Chemical, Chemistry, Electrical, Physics, and Material Science—as applied to critical industrial processes within semiconductor manufacturing. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you will gain practical experience in: Process Operations & Control: Understanding and contributing to daily process operations and statistical process control (SPC) activities. Process Monitoring & Analysis: Learning the theoretical foundations of process monitoring and applying them to real-world scenarios. Experimental Design & Analysis (DOE): Designing, executing, and analyzing Designs of Experiments (DOE) specifically for etching processes to optimize performance. Key projects for this internship will focus on system improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing production line efficiency, including: Monitoring Time Reduction: Developing and implementing operational or technical solutions to reduce process monitoring time. Big Data Analysis: Applying advanced analytical techniques to large datasets to identify efficiency bottlenecks and opportunities. Efficiency Improvement Reporting: Creating comprehensive reports detailing efficiency gains and proposing further optimizations. We are looking for applicants who are passionate about continuous process improvement and eager to apply multi-disciplinary knowledge to complex manufacturing challenges.
