Join us and help define elegant, high-performance computing, sensing, communication, and power systems. 10-Week Project Scope & Description: Own requirements gathering, design, and validation of multiple avionics assemblies and/or test fixtures. Gain expertise in multiple disciplines within EE as you design systems for power electronics, communications, RF, and more. Design test stands and test fixtures, which may include relays, PLCs, PCBAs, harnessing, and various other pieces of electrical and mechanical equipment. Utilize Python to automate test sequences, perform analysis, or run simulations. Contribute to and attend cross-functional design reviews. Advocate for design changes that result in simpler manufacturing processes. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • You are an undergraduate, graduate or PhD student expected to graduate in December 2026 or Spring 2027.
  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental engineering concepts, including EE, Mech E, Programming, Physics, and Mathematics.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary hardware development projects, which can be from an internship, job, club, team, personal project, etc.
  • Great written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated history of showing ownership of project outcomes and delivering exceptional results.
  • Record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PCB schematic and layout tools, including Altium, KiCAD, Eagle, etc…
  • Experience with Python or any scripting language.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, etc…
  • Demonstrated adaptability, agility, and the ability to innovate under pressure to meet dynamic project demands and drive successful
