Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. 2026 NAF Future Ready Lab (NAF FRL) Internship – CT National Academy Foundation Future Ready Lab (NAF FRL) Internship Program Pratt & Whitney, An RTX Business, is working to, once again, transform the future of flight—designing, building and servicing engines unlike any the world has ever seen. And because transformation begins from within, we’re seeking the people to drive it. So, calling all curious. We're Looking for NAF Interns! NAF’s Future Ready Lab powered by Pratt & Whitney is a unique paid internship opportunity designed for students at NAF Academies in the Greater Hartford, CT area. Interns will take part in skill-building workshops, gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, and collaborate with team members and mentors to complete a business project. This paid internship experience will take place over the course of eight weeks starting in June 2026. NAF FRL Intern projects will center around Technology and Innovation, where interns will work hands-on with teams that are critical to Pratt & Whitney’s growth through innovation, technology development, and continuous improvement. Interns will be able to incorporate new expertise into their projects from what they learn in workshops and other professional development events. The final week of the internship will be spent preparing a professional presentation sharing key insights and skills developed during their experience, which interns will deliver to a panel of company executives and industry leaders.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled at o East Hartford AOE o Hartford Public High School (HPHS) o Pathways Academy of Technology & Design o New Britain MET
  • Rising seniors (summer between 11th & 12th grade)
  • Minimum of a 2.5 GPA
  • Commitment to all dates and times of the internship
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be a US Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident/"green card" holder)
