About The Position

At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Our multi-disciplined Process Engineering team performs hands-on problem solving in a collaborative and fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are subject matter experts for processes and materials in a cleanroom environment which focuses on radiofrequency (RF) microelectronic packaging and surface mount technology. This hands-on role confronts new projects and challenges every day and requires cross-functional collaboration in both cutting-edge automation and mature production processes. We develop and implement materials, processes and process improvements to our factory, while providing production support using a variety of analytical techniques, including statistical process control, experimental designs, material analysis, mechanical design analysis, and root cause analysis. We perform the evaluation of materials, equipment, and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development) and interface with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
