About The Position

Seeking day and night shift opportunity from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am. 3 day weekends off every other weekend (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off in a biweekly payperiod). Must be able to complete 2 of 3 positions within the department. Base pay with shift premium is $19 for day and $21.50 for night but negotiable with experience. Incentive program, referral bonus, employee discount and more! This person is responsible for product integrity and quality in all aspects of cheese production. All associates in the north department are required to follow their instructions. Assist in all activities in the department including but not limited to: Job/position assignment and rotation as needed as specified in 3.a i-vi. Proper use and care of equipment Sanitation/cleaning and record keeping as needed as part of the job Ensure product quality and all production schedules are maintained. Support production activities for tables Retrieve ingredients and equipment when needed Retrieve boxes and glue as needed Contact Food Safety/Quality to report any deficiencies and take immediate and appropriate steps to maintain food safety and food quality Contact Maintenance to report any mechanical problems and take immediate and appropriate steps to maintain food safety, food quality and production schedules. Associate shall be fully trained on all standard operating procedures Include but not limited to: Coding/boxing/weighing Case palletizing/pallet moving Cleaning/sanitation Data collection/sample pulling Glue/boxes/scale calibration shoveling salting ingredient additions tower operation/filling cleaning/sanitation All other tasks as required on behalf of the company Work with the food safety and quality team to develop policies and procedures related to their department Comply with all GMP policies including but not limited to: Proper Hair Restraints Appropriate use of gloves, arm guards and aprons Appropriate Hand Washing and Glove Changing Enforcing the use of designated tobacco use areas Traffic Patterns/Color Codes Ensure proper workplace safety, workplace behavior, eliminate horseplay and improper activities. Participate in the development, implementation and enforcement of all food safety and company policies. Perform any and all duties as directed in support of the needs of the company.
