About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Zünd Digital Cutter Specialist to operate and maintain our Zünd S3 M-1600 cutting system. This role is responsible for precision cutting of materials used in production, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality output. The ideal candidate has experience with digital cutting systems, material handling, and production workflows, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Experience operating Zünd cutters (S3 series preferred) or similar digital cutting systems
Familiarity with Zünd Cut Center (ZCC) or other cutting workflow software
Understanding of various materials (fabrics, leather, vinyl, foam, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 30–50 lbs
Comfortable working around production equipment

Responsibilities

Operate the Zünd S3 M-1600 digital cutter to cut a variety of materials with precision
Set up cutting jobs using Zünd software (ZCC / Zünd Cut Center)
Load materials and ensure proper alignment and calibration before cutting
Select appropriate tools (knife, router, creaser, etc.) based on material type
Monitor cutting performance and adjust settings as needed for optimal results
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the machine
Inspect finished cuts for quality, accuracy, and consistency
Minimize material waste and optimize cutting layouts
Collaborate with design and production teams to meet deadlines
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
