About The Position

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc., a leader in commercial real estate due diligence, is seeking a full-time Zoning Researcher. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of zoning Experience in an office environment and be highly organized, detailed, and self-managed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Proficient in using Internet search engines such as Google and Bing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-directed, organized, and able to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with land use and zoning principles (helpful but not required)
• Ability to read and interpret zoning ordinances (helpful but not required)
• Ability to read and interpret ALTA surveys (helpful but not required)

Responsibilities

• Obtain, track, and manage documents; verify their accuracy
• Correspond with municipalities nationwide via telephone, email, and online portals
• Assist in ensuring documents and municipal responses are obtained to meet clients’ deadlines
• Work as part of a team to ensure efficient completion of tasks to produce high-quality reports
