Pay : $18.20 per hour Job Summary Perform a wide variety of manual tasks in kitchen or dining area of a food activity, which involves light to moderate physical effort and is done according to established procedures. Serves as a lead and provides guidance to lower-level employees. Performs duties as Supervisor in his/her absence.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass and maintain a Tier 5 FBI Security Clearance required.
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred.
- One-year food service-related experience preferred.
- Must obtain Serve-Save certification within 90 days of hire date required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Neat, well-groomed appearance required.
Responsibilities
- Set up food on self-serving lines and portion food for individual servings in accordance with instructions.
- Refill cold bars, salad bars, pastry cabinets, condiments, juice dispensers, and set up dining rooms.
- Replace glassware, dishes and silverware and refill condiment containers.
- Wipe and wash tables and countertops.
- Clean work area, utensils, and equipment; remove garbage; mop floors, walls, windows, and tables.
- Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from serving counters.
- Mix washing solutions and operate electric dish washing machine and/or wash dishes, glassware, pots and pans and kitchen utensils by hand.
- Maintain in a sanitary condition equipment and work areas, utensils, and tables.
- Perform ware-washing, and keep pot and pan areas in order prior to, during and after meals.
- Follow correct cleaning techniques, cleaning schedules and tasks.
- May assign duties to lower-level employees in the absence of a supervisor.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
