Zone Maintenance Technician
About The Position
This is a journeyman level position responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities throughout the Medical University of South Carolina, operating during both peak and non-peak hours. The role involves utilizing power and hand tools to perform a variety of corrective maintenance and repairs, ranging from minor to extensive, within specific zone assignments. All tasks must be executed in adherence to established instructions and trade practices. While occasional monitoring or supervision may occur for new assignments, all work originates from the Hospital Help Desk, FSC, Maintenance Manager, or Supervisor, and is subject to their supervision and inspection. This position is considered Essential Personnel in disaster situations.
Requirements
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- 3 years Work Experience
