RH is seeking a Zipper Sewer who will operate the sewing machine to sew zippers.

Requirements

• 1+ years experience in similar field
• Excellent communication with clients, associates, and fellow Leaders
• Ability to work independently
• Team player with an enthusiastic outlook and creative mind
• Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism
• Effectively manage multiple projects and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Live Our Vision, Values and Beliefs every day
• Sew zippers into the border by operating a zipper sewing machine
• Control machine with foot pedal
• Observe stitching to detect defects and notifies supervisor when defects are caused by machine malfunction
• Select sewing supplies according to specifications or color of material, and sets up machine for operation
• Cut excess thread or material
• Oil machine
• Maintain equipment and work area in an orderly manner
