About The Position

The Zinc Bar Maker is responsible for producing zinc bars to specification while safely operating a forklift to move materials within the facility. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and comfort working in an outdoor covered manufacturing environment. Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour Shift: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Requirements

• Must have sit-down forklift experience
• The client does not want candidates who are only forklift drivers, as they tend to leave the role
• Prefer candidates who have experience working with metals
• Must be able to use hand and power tools
• Should be comfortable with measurements
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision

Responsibilities

• Manufacture zinc bars according to production specifications.
• Perform precision metal cutting, ensuring zinc bars are cut accurately to 42 inches.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials from point A to point B within the work area.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
