Zinc & Sintering Furnace Operator
About The Position
Do you have excellent attendance? Do you want to operate in an important position that requires responsibility? If you answered yes, our Furnace Department could be a fit for you! This is an opportunity to train and learn to operate the sintering furnaces involved in the initial bonding phase of the sinter-hip process. As well as train to operate the Zinc reclaim furnace to debond the cemented tungsten carbide and re-utilize the elements in new powder formulations. Ultra-met provides a climate-controlled environment, and the furnace area remains cool, even when the furnaces are operating. Can eat and drink at the workstation. No heavy lifting. In addition, Ultra-met has invested in a brand-new, extensive, and site-specific training program, tailored to make employees more comfortable, knowledgeable, and excited about their new position at Ultra-met.
