About The Position

The Yoga Teacher Training-Faculty is responsible for executing two programs per year that satisfy the minimum YTT curriculum hours that includes promotion, marketing, open house responsibilities, and student interviews. The purpose of YTT Faculty is to provide an environment that develops a deeper intellectual understanding of the philosophy and principles of teaching yoga. The YTT Faculty also provides the curriculum framework that directly connects to our rich lineage of Ashtanga yoga.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 200 hour E-RYT Designation
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa
• Proficient in teaching FLOW
• Ability to deliver content in lecture
• High level teacher with a minimum of teaching 4 classes a week

Responsibilities

• Facilitates 180 face to face contact hours with students that delivers practical teaching, lectures, group discussions, and reviewing of student homework
• Schedules and completes student interviews that provides students with a full understanding of the program, expectation of course, and reviews of 5 precepts
• Oversees promotions, open house events, marketing, social media presence, and student interest follow ups that will be equally shared among YTT Faculty
• Reviews and prepares for lectures and course requirements prior to each session
